Statute: 40:33A-6

a. A county cultural and heritage commission created pursuant to the provisions of P.L.1968, c. 31 (C. 40:33A-1 et seq.) may, in the name of the county and with the approval of the board of chosen freeholders, apply for and accept any gifts, grants or bequests, including any grants from (1) the Federal Government or any agency thereof or (2) the government of this State or any of its agencies, instrumentalities or political subdivisions or (3) any foundation, corporation, association or individual, and may comply with the terms, conditions and limitations thereof, for the purpose of carrying out any of the functions, powers and duties imposed or conferred upon such commission by or pursuant to law. b. Funds received pursuant to the provisions of this supplementary act shall be deposited with the public funds of the county and shall be budgeted, expended and accounted for in accordance with the provisions of the Local Budget Law (N.J.S. 40A:4-1 et seq.) and the Local Fiscal Affairs Law (N.J.S. 40A:5-1 et seq.) and subject to any terms, conditions and limitations upon which such funds were received. Title to any real or tangible personal property acquired pursuant to this supplementary act shall be vested in the county. L.1971, c. 451, s. 5, eff. Feb. 16, 1972.
